Shishi was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Dallas, Texas. She was surrounded by a music loving family and drew inspiration to take up music from her grandfather who was a composer. Her childhood dream was to one day become a radio personality but little did she know that at some point in her life, she was going to tame the microphone singing. Living in Dallas in the 1990s.
